About The Client
Geelong Cruiseship Destination Australia are responsible for promoting Geelong and the surrounding area as a destination for international Cruiseships to dock whilst in Australia. Â
They do this by creating day itineraries and tours for cruiseship passengers during their stay to the city and providing berthing information.
The Client’s Problem
Geelong Cruiseship Destination Australia needed a way of promoting Geelong and the region as an interesting place for Cruiseships to visit.
The majority of cruiseships that visit Victoria dock in Melbourne but overlook Geelong, The Bellarine and the Great Ocean road. The client required a way of simply conveying what Geelong harbour, and the region has to offer for visiting passengers.
The Propeld Solution
Propeld worked with Geelong Cruiseship Destination Australia to design and produce an A4 landscape brochure using their existing brand.
The brochure presents the history of the city, how it has evolved and what it currently has to offer its visitors. It highlights the cities’ culture, restaurants, the beauty and uniqueness of the surrounding region and travel times to other popular nearby towns and cities.
There are multiple half day and full day tour ideas for passengers, highlighting the regions premium tourism destinations and berthing information for cruise liners.
